Fashion, Fashion, Fashion, Fashion! Here at SeeSaw Austin we LOVE fashion! So when Austin Fashion Week rolls around, we are beyond ecstatic, because after all “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. This year’s kick-off event represents exactly what Coco was talking about. Austin Fashion Week has partnered with Circuit of The Americas™ to bring this world-class event to Austin in anticipation of the 2012 UNITED STATES FORMULA ONE GRAND PRIX™. “Shift into Style” is going to be an evening filled with fashion, food and drinks, bringing some of the biggest names in motorsports and fashion together.
The First Lady of Texas, Anita Perry will open the festivities as guests indulge in gourmet food and live entertainment. The fashion lineup for the night will showcase the menswear line from Austin-owned, fashion-savvy “Keepers,” Sportswear from Ferrari, Evening wear from “The Danes Collection,” Race wear from local designer Linda Asaf, and a first look at the “COTA Girls,” the Circuit’s signature brand ambassadors, dressed in designs by Austin’s own Ross Bennett of “Fashion Star” fame.
In addition, proceeds from the silent auctions (created especially for this event) will benefit Seton Breast Cancer Center, Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center, and the Arc of the Capital Area. Fashion is ALL about giving back and that is one of the biggest reason we love it so much.
