See: Night Fever with Young Fellaz Brass Band
Looking for fun weekends plans? Look no more, friends. This Saturday, March 23rd, is the 34th edition of the Night Fever, located at Hotel Vegas. This edition’s special guests are Young Fellaz Brass Band, a “lively second line styled brass band.” Originally from New Orleans, this band humbly began in 2005 and has gone from having three members and playing music around their neighborhood to now having eight members, recording three studio albums, performing in many festivals in New Orleans, and performing in many states across the United States. Basically they’re amazing, and you’re getting a chance to hear just how amazing. Also expect to listen to a turntable/percussion set by Manolo Black (Peligrosa) + John Speice (Brownout/Grupo Fantasma) and DJ set by Coolhands (Friends of Sound/The New Day) and be ready to celebrate Papa Chop and Manolo Black’s birthdays. In a nutshell, be ready to party.
A few things you’ll need: To be 21+, $5 before 11 or $10 after to get in the doors, and to be prepared for the fun of a “a funky second line revival” and to hear the “finest in New Orleans Brass, Funk, Boogie, Soul, R&B, HipHop, AfroLatin and World vibes.”
